Whilst out with a friend from Liverpool at the weekend, we decided to pop into the local garden centre café near John Lennon Airport for afternoon tea.
On visiting the mens’ washroom, imagine my surprise when I thought I’d actually wandered outside into the plant department by mistake.
Lined up against a very pleasant meadow backdrop was a series of urinals specially created in the shapes of various different flowerheads. I have it on good authority that the wash basins in the ladies’ washroom have been designed in a similar fashion. Truly a stroke of creative genius from the design team responsible for the fit-out.
If only other establishments could be as creative around different parts of the country. It would certainly brighten up the day!
